What we make, and how it fits together.
A map of Swiftaw's products, how each one's rules sit under our general terms, and what we expect from everyone using them.
The short version: our job is to make and deliver digital products - right now, Fortized and Lifecheck. Each one has its own rules for the details, and they all sit under Swiftaw's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This page is the map.
01 What Swiftaw makes
We're a French company, and what we do is build and run our own digital products. Using any of them means you're agreeing to Swiftaw's general terms and privacy policy, plus that product's own rules where it has them.
02 Fortized
Fortized is our gaming-flavoured chat app - somewhere to talk, build communities and mess around. It's got accounts, shared content (messages, media, creations), a shop, and its own community rules.
Fortized keeps its own terms and policies over on fortized.com. They point back to these Swiftaw ones and cover the Fortized-specific stuff - how to behave, the shop, creator tools, and so on.
03 Lifecheck
Lifecheck is our friendly “are you human?” check - a captcha that keeps bots out without being miserable to use. Site owners drop it in; visitors do a quick, playful check.
Lifecheck has its own docs and integration terms for the people who add it to their sites. What happens to the interactions with the widget is covered in our Privacy Policy.
04 How the rules stack up
Think of it as two layers built to fit together:
- Swiftaw's general documents - the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and this Products Policy. These stay general and cover everything.
- Each product's own rules - the specific detail (like Fortized's) that points back to Swiftaw's and adds what's unique to that product.
They're written to work together, not to argue. If a product rule and a general Swiftaw rule ever seem to clash on the same point, the product rule wins for that product, and the general terms keep covering everything else. You're agreeing to both when you use a product.
05 The ground rules everywhere
Whichever product you're in, you agree to:
- use it legally and treat other people decently;
- keep your account secure and not use it to dodge bans or limits;
- not attack, overload or try to get around a product's security - including abusing or getting around Lifecheck;
- not use a product to hurt people, spread illegal content, or trample someone's rights.
Break these, or a product's own rules, and you can lose access.
06 Content and creations
You keep what you make. When you share something in a product, you give us the permission we need to host and show it there so the thing works. Some products also let you build stuff - emojis, templates, bots in Fortized - and you're responsible for what you make, with each product's own rules setting the boundaries.
07 Paying for things
Some products sell extras or virtual items - Fortized's shop and Radiance, for example. Those run under that product's own shop rules, alongside your consumer rights under French and EU law. A virtual item is permission to use it inside the product, not a real-world thing you own.
08 New products
We build new things. When Swiftaw launches one, it's automatically covered by our general terms and privacy policy, and we'll add it here. Some of the data we collect today (see the Privacy Policy) is what helps us research and build those next products - always inside the same promise: we don't sell your data or use it for commercial resale.
